Another exposure visit was organized under the project BCMFC (Building Child marriage Free Communities) with those students who are getting transportation from Bedari, Vehari for their education.
Bedari is facilitating 10 students from different villages of Vehari. A visit was planned for these beneficiaries in order to enhance their learning, meet Ma’am Shamilla Aslam-Local MPA, and enjoy the moment as well.
Young girls visited the Wild Life Park and really enjoyed it.
Different activities were held and they played many games. After visiting the park, a meeting was organized with the Local MPA, Madam Shamilla Aslam. They had fruitful discussion with her while having lunch.
Impressions of the Girls
“It was nearly impossible to get permission from my parents. My mother was so worried. She said if anything untoward happens, they would not be able to face the community. Anyhow, when they found that Bedari staff would be going with us, they agreed.”
“The best part of the trip was the travel. We sang so many songs, we sang so loud. It was such a liberating experience. I have enjoyed the most today. It was the best day of my life. I don’t know if I will ever get a chance to have this much fun or not. Thank you Bedari!”
