Bedari organized a dialogue between Parliamentarians (Women caucus) and Civil Society to address the issue of Child Marriage and engaging girls in educational and productive activities. The Results Announced – Our girls passed with flying colors

Bedari, with support from Girls Education International (GEI) has been supporting 101 girls for their post primary education. All the girls appeared for their annual exams in the year 2016. The results for most of the classes have been announced. Bedari organized a training session on hand made jewelry for girls benefiting from its girls education program in Chakwal on 25th July, 2016. The training was conducted under “Girls Education Program”. Thirty-five girls attended the training where they were taught different techniques for making jewelry with their hands without using expensive tools/machines. Bedari Staff participated in a regional workshop on baseline survey conducted by Amsterdam University in Nepal from 4th to 9th April under Her Choice Project, which aims at addressing the issue of child marriages in many countries including Pakistan.
