• To establish Sustainable Institutional Structure for addressing ‘Violence against Women’ (VAW) in all six tehsils of district Attock.


• To build the capacity of education and health departments of district Attock, aiming at mitigation of sexual harassment at workplace


• To provide domestic workers a place to contact in case of sexual harassment and abuse through Crises Intervention Program

The project emphasizes on the awareness raising and implementation of the newly approved landmark laws against sexual harassment. Bedari has an expertise on the issue as it is the founding member of AASHA and working on it for the last eight years. The laws have the potential to improve the work environment for women and girls. They will be able to attend school, go to public place and to work places with much less fear than before. To achieve the real spirit of the laws, it is important that the capacity of all stakeholders is built around the law. Keeping in mind the time limit and resources, this project focuses on three main sectors for eradication of sexual harassment. These three sectors are education, health and domestic work.
