Dance4Life takes off in Islamabad
 
Bedari in partnership with Rutgers WPF has started a new project Dance4Life. The project is aimed at creating awareness among Pakistani adolescents about reproductive health issues, life skills based education and HIV and AIDS. Bedari is implementing this project in Islamabad.

Recently, Rutgers WPF arranged a training workshop for the youth leaders, who would connect with their peers and other young boys and girls, and take the project forward. more »

   
Annual Staff Retreat
 

Keeping in view the recent expansion in Bedari’s operations and the consequent hiring of new staff, annual staff retreat was arranged to bring them all together, so that all the staff members from various projects and districts could interact and learn from one another. The retreat was held in IRADAH Rehabilitation Center for Disabled in Buchal Kalan near Kalar Kahar in District Chakwal. It was a four day event held from 7th to 10th July, 2011. All the project teams from Multan, Vehari, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahab, Attock, Chakwal and Islamabad joined in. The total number of the staff stood at 36 with equal number of men and women. more »
