On the occasion of World Literacy day at Lodhran district council Hall, Bedari in collaboration with National Commission for Human Development organized a seminar on non-formal basic education. Deputy Commissioner Lodhran, Saqib Ali Ateel addressed the crowd with his view point that the light of education will soon be extended to every household and every street. He endorsed the idea by giving examples of many legendary people who were the product of non-formal education.
Addressing the masses, DO Literacy, Shazia Noreen highlighted the importance of education by saying that every child needs to be given school bags to pave a way for education. The event was headed by Chief Executive education Mian Abdul Razzaq, whereas, other participants included Mudassar Hashmi, Population Welfare officer, Malik Kamran Ali, District Officer Labour and Saleem Raza Shah, Deputy Director Social Welfare. Representatives from Bedari Lodhran office, Civil Society Representatives, Media, schoolboys and schoolgirls also participated in the event.
