| Bedari Theater Team |

Bedari has theater teams in Islamabad and Chakwal. These teams consist of volunteers from various colleges, schools and universities. Bedari arranges training sessions for these volunteers to teach them basic theater techniques.
All the plays are developed by the volunteers jointly, and scripted by the team leader. Bedari theater teams are led by Mr. Safeer Ullah Khan – coordinator Bedari Theater Program.

Mr. Safeer Ullah Khan has done masters in English literature. He was an active member of Dramatic Club of his college and won first prize for best actor in Annual Drama Festival at his college in the year 2000. Later he joined Punjab Lok Rahs – a Lahore-based street theater group. He has performed in numerous street plays, and has given theater training to many community-based theater groups in Lahore, Okara, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. He worked as consultant on theater related matters with Plan Pakistan, SACHET and Voice against Torture. He joined Bedari in 2007, and has played instrumental role in reinvigorating Bedari Theater Program.

| Under his leadership, Bedari has developed two theater teams, provided trainings to volunteers, and developed more than 10 plays for Bedari. Only in 2009 and 2010, Bedari Theater Teams gave over 170 street performances in Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Attock and Jhelum districts. |

| Najm un Nisa |

Miss Nisa is popularly known by her nick Najmi. She is doing graduation. She is a committed volunteer of Bedari Theater Team, and has the distinction to work with both theater teams – Islamabad Theater Team as well as Chakwal Theater Team. She has very good command over Urdu and Punjabi languages. She is a committed volunteer and enjoys doing theater. She has played important roles in ‘Larai Larai Maaf Karo’, ‘Qanoon Hona Chaheeda’, ‘Mukhlisabad ki Ghumman Ghereyan’, and many more. She is an excellent actress. |

| Muhammad Umer Zia |

Mr. Zia is doing BBA from University of Arid Agriculture, Rawalpindi. He has been working with Bedari Theater Team Islamabad since 2008. He has played important roles in ‘Mukhlisabad ki Ghumman Ghereyan’, ‘SODIS Paani Zindabad’, and ‘Khatarnaak Dost’. |

Mr. Nawaz is also a student University of Arid Agriculture, Rawalpindi. He is doing BBA, and spares some time for Bedari Theater as well. He is a very good actor, who puts a lot of effort to develop his roles in living beings. He has played important roles in ‘Khatarnak Dost’, ‘SODIS Paani Zindabad’, and ‘Kuch Socho Is Baray Mien’. |

Ammar also comes from University of Arid Agriculture, Rawalpindi. He has played many memorable roles in ‘Khatarnak Dost’, ‘Kuch Socho Is Baray Mien’, and Mukhlisabad ki Ghumman Ghereyan’. |

At first when you look at Shiza, you would dismiss her for being an introvert and deeply shy little girl, who seldom speaks. However, the moment you would be really surprised to see her delivering her dialogue on the stage. She transforms the moment she appears on the stage. She is a student of 9th grade with immense talent for acting. She has performed in ‘Fasad Nahi, Aman’, ‘Larai Larai Maaf Karo’ and ‘Qanoon Hona Chaheeda’.

| Dilawar Hussain |

Dilawar is a child star. He is studying in 10th grade. He is an extra ordinary actor. Acting comes naturally to him. Since his very first performance, he received huge appreciation from all – be it illiterate villagers, or UK politicians (who did not understand the language of the play Dilawar was performing). He has always received appreciation from the audiences. He has played important roles in ‘Fasad Nahi, Aman’, ‘Larai Larai Maaf Karo’, and ‘Qanoon Hona Chaheeda’. |

| Juveria Urooj |

Juveria Urooj is also a child star, studying in 9th grade. She has won essay competitions at provincial level, and has passed Kangaroo Test with distinction. She has a passion for acting, and is not happy if her exams keep her from performing in Bedari Theater. She has played important roles in ‘Fasad Nahi, Aman’, ‘Larai Larai Maaf Karo’, and ‘Qanoon Hona Chaheeda’. |
